CATSCLAW Tire Shred Solution

Global GRAB’s CATSCLAW Tire Shredding systems are a less-than-lethal capability that is designed for a variety of use cases to deter and mitigate hostile vehicle threats at access control points, borders, security checkpoints, and for high threat facility protection.  CATSCLAW Tire Shredding systems can be used as a “standalone” or as a supplement to an existing hostile vehicle mitigation or perimeter security barrier system where a second layer of deterrence and protection is needed. 

The CATSCLAW In-Ground Tire Shredding system is optimally designed for areas where traffic volumes vary from low, medium, to high on a regular basis.  The performance and reliability of the CATSCLAW In-Ground system has been proven by mission critical customers for years.  What sets the CATSCLAW apart from other tire shredding products in terms of reliability is that it is a commercial grade, all-weather, fully electric system that does not rely on springs.  CATSCLAW systems can be configured with either single or bi-directional blades.

Versatile Vehicle Barrier

CATSCLAW systems are integrated with traffic signals, audible warnings, custom controls, and solar backup by Global GRAB for standalone installations, but can be easily integrated with other barrier systems and controls.  Global GRAB’s CATSCLAW systems are also available in a Tactical (mobile) version for low-volume traffic areas that includes portable signage, traffic signal, and remote deployment capabilities.
