GRAB 350

The GRAB 350 “Less-than-Lethal” Active Vehicle Barrier System is designed, engineered, and manufactured based on the input of Customs, Border and Law Enforcement Professionals and real-world Land Border Port of Entry vehicle “Port Running” incidents.

The patent pending GRAB 350 system is designed to deter, safely stop, and effectively contain intentional and unintentional vehicle “Port Runners” within the perimeter of the Port of Entry or checkpoint, thereby eliminating the need for high-speed chases.

The GRAB 350 is a two-tier, less-than-lethal integrated active vehicle barrier system utilizing Global GRAB’s award-winning “less-than-lethal” and U.S. Department of Homeland Security SAFETY Act Certified GRAB 300 (Ground Retractable Automobile Barrier), which meets and exceeds the “G-force” requirements of U.S. Customs and Border Protection. The GRAB 300 is also ASTM M50 P2 crash rated.

The system also includes the CATSCLAW In-Ground Tire Shredding system, approved warning signs and signals, the SW1200 Post & Cable/ ASTM M50 P2 crash rated, custom user controls, a choice of solar power configurations, and other key components.

Both Inbound and Outbound vehicle traffic lanes at Land Border Crossing Ports of Entry, and interior vehicle checkpoints can benefit from the GRAB 350 “less-than-lethal” active vehicle barrier system’s capabilities. Utilizing the GRAB 350 with its two-second system deployment in conjunction with Outbound Enforcement Operations can help in the interdiction and seizure of guns, weapons, currency, and stolen vehicles.
